Connecting with students was important for PTC’s renaming, so we took to Snapchat for engaging brand awareness tactics.
The formerly named Pittsburgh Technical Institute came to us wanting to connect with their students in a fun and engaging way, so we turned to arguably the most engaging and millennially-used social platform currently around.
Graduation is the most shareable event on any college campus, so the first created filter was designed for students to celebrate and share their accomplishment.
Following a fresh rebranding, Pittsburgh Technical College needed to reconnect with students and build awareness around its new name and look. For an engaging and interactive way to reach current students, we created a series of Snapchat filters for more special events on PTC’s campus. The renaming, student festival, and second graduation filters all hit the mark.
Student participation being among top priorities for PTC, success of the Snapchat filters was measured by (A) the total number of uses and (B) the total number of impressions. With over 1,300 views the filters certainly did the trick.
